travels || napa county and monterey bay

It's been a long time, hasn't it?

Back in November, we went down to Napa Valley for a few days.  I took a few photos, but haven't gotten to them until now.

I miss California- The sunshine, the 101, every damn restaurant in Oakland, but especially the lighting (is it just me? The lighting is  different, isn't it?)

My darling beau lived in Oakland before he finally made the trek up to the Pacific Northwest.  This more or less means that I have lost a "vacation" home in California.  But for obviously fantastic reasons I cannot be too upset.  I do have a real soft spot for California though and my next few posts will tell you (or show you) why.  Before the move I stayed in the Bay Area for about 3 weeks and we traveled down the coast to scope out breathtaking Big Sur, swanky Carmel-By-The-Sea, on beaches hidden in Laguna and finally sunny, surfy, San Diego.
