Chicago, again, but hotter

Back in May I flew to Chicago to celebrate my dear, very dear friend's 30th birthday.  It was a quick but wonderful weekend filled with picnics, cocktails, pizza, ice cream and laughs.  Here's a small collection of photographs:

Back... way back now, actually all the way back to February, seven of us flew down to Playa Del Carmen. We ate, sunned and swam our way through Cancun, Tulum, Aukumel and Dos Ojos.   I wanted to write a very specific play by play of the landscapes, the patterns, the margaritas, the accidental 5 mile walk in Cancun on the beach (my calves were never the same), our beautiful little condo in Playa, the best ceviche i've ever had, the best beet i've ever had, the young coconuts, the god damn beaches (THE GOD DAMN BEACHES), a modest celebrity sighting, the ruins, the streets, the palms... but then I remembered that I have all of these photos...
